So I have tantrums down but I got into a bad habit of throwing them too far back and ending up in the flats without much height and a lot of line tension. I somewhat fixed this by trying to push up with my hips more as opposed to back with my shoulders, and I'm getting more height and landing in the trough, but I stall can't take them wake to wake. I want to learn Tantrum to Blinds this season but I won't be able to if I don't fix this.

Cut in a little harder than you are now to start however square off to the wake more... as in drop your back hand and turn your shoulders off the top of the wake. WAIT! on the pop. If you are squaring this properly the flip will come very easily and does not require much "throw".

Think I've fixed it. I was cutting in pretty squat over to try push more off but I've learned that if i stand up more during the edge like a raley and cut in harder, then come off a fraction of a second before i hit the top of the wake and square off it works
