How's the wake on a Mobius LSV 06 and newer? Are they touchy boats where the wake washes or is the wake pretty much solid? Does anyone have any photos of the wake with just stock ballast and when its slammed?

I've rode behind my fair share and have always loved it. They have a great shape, and the stock ballast isn't bad at all. When you load it up it only gets better. That wake is the definition of bang for the buck.

What would you compare the wake to? I rode the 23ft a few times. Nice wake but the boat is touchy. Does the LSV fall on its side like the XLV in a hard turn?

Anyone have any photos?

kyle, you should jump over to the moomba forums at moomba.com, there are a ton of LSV owners over there

Kyle, I think 06 is the newer hull which I have heard has a better wake than the older ones. Isn't the 05 and older Mobius LSV the same hull as the Outback V up to 08?

Yeah the 06 is the hull change. I rode an 03 LSV and was not that impressed with it or the quality of the boat. I could not get the boat to stop porpoising when i touched the plate no matter how much weight we put in the front. But I hear the 06 and newer is sweet. Just wondering what peoples opinions are on them?

I love the wake on my 08. It's easy to dial in and is the shape is nice and balanced... not too rampy or peaky.

I have an 07 and I like the wake. It can get lippy if you want or put the plate down a bit to soften the lip.

They like weight in the nose, I don't know how to upload pic's sorry.....I've tried a bunch of times and just can't get it to work.

for what it's worth I have about 220 hours on my boat since June of 08 when I got it and I run it heavy usually and no problems so far. I would upgrade to the 14x14.25 prop if you want to run more weight in it.

I upgraded to 750's in the rear and run the triangle sac in the bow plus 400 lbs of pop bags to balance and the wake is fun.

I have 06 LSV.. Wake is best when using stock 1200 plus 300-600 up front..(jeff is correct above) DON"T put too much in the rear.. I had 750s in rear and you have to put way too much up front to balance that.. several times this summer we put about 400-500 up front and got best wake...
