Does anybody have the Hurley Phantom boardshorts? I've only talked to 2 people that have them - they say they're their awesome. Are they worth paying $85?

i have the black advantage. they're nice and comfy. don't think mine were ever called phantom, but they're definitely advantage. black with silver hurley H and the special material. they are pretty sweet and super comfy. now this is pure speculation, but my guess was that the reason they're so expensive is maybe because they had to pay nike license fees to be able to use the product. nike invented it i believe. got mine from killer dana.

hey one thing i would say, is that they don't offer "the boys" much protection, and the material is lighter and thinner than typical boardshort material. fwiw. ;)

Yeah those are the shorts I'm talking about. Would you buy another pair?

yeah, i actually did last fall when killer dana had an online sale. i think you may be able to find them a little cheaper if you google, but i've always been pretty happy with killer dana.

Nike owns Hurley, so why would they have to pay Nike for license fees?

I would definitely need to try them on to drop that kind of coin; especially when superfreaks are showing up in Marshalls at 20 bucks these days!
