I needed more board storage between wakeboards and surf boards I just did not have enough room.I already had a set of Samson canon racks which I like very much so Samson was the obvious choice for an extra set of racks.I ordered a set of the typhoon spinning racks and moved my old racks to the foreword down tube to make room for the new racks. Now with all the racks mounted I can carry up to eight boards if needed.Although the base mounts on the racks are different all the forks match and I don't think it looks to bad here is a before and a couple after pics.........................H

What about a cargo rack bimini? It's made by monster tower and some of the pictures show a tower with one and a threesome so I would think it would fit.

The monster tower bimini is to small my boat has a 102" beam and you can not buy a Z-5 cargo bimini because they do not make one for centurions if they did I would have went that route. Clearance is not a problem there is over 6 feet between the floor and the bottom of my 485's.The tower is made by skylon and is basically the same tower the MB's come with.I would have mounted the racks a little higher but they would have interfered with the bimini I already have. Here is a pic of the boat with the bimini on...........................H

I don't know if you looked at this but it looks like it doesn't matter what your beam is. Just how far apart the tower is towards the top.

If anything, it looks like you could lengthen the piece of tubing the mount is on fairly easily.

I'm surprised they don't have a Z5 that could fit with a little massaging.
