how do you make an inboard/outboard wake better?

ok so the wake on my boat (searay 2004) is ok but i would prefer it to be better (like bigger and or a better shape, making it easier to jump from wake to wake). i have been thinking about a fat sac
any ideas?

60% weight up front 40% weight in back. Bring trim up just a little bit.

If you have foils, droppin them will clean up your wake some.

Wakititup, dont you mean 60% rear and 40% up front?

I'm with wakeitup, you have your engine and passangers in the rear but your front end sits way out of the water, bring that front end down and you displace much more water. That's if we're talking about balast specific, if we're considering passangers etc, then it would be 60% rear.

Dropping the outdrive all the way with no trim sucks the bow down as well.....
Add weight to the bow and trim up just a little and it'll get pretty good

you diffinatly have to add weight if you want to get a bigger, more solid wake. We have a crownline and the wake is always amazing when we have like 10 or 12 people in it. It does take forever to plain out though so you may want to consider getting a smaller pitch prop if your going to ride with alot of weight often.

ballast in a I/O is opposite than on an inboard.
