Im looking to make a surfboard tower rack that mounts the board on top of the tower. I think mounting on top of the tower would be the easiest rack to build.
I plan to one day just take the Bimini and have pockets sew into the front of the bimini. To slide the nose of the board into. Then have a Velcro strap sewed closer to the back of the board to hold them down.
This might be something I can work with. We have a bimini top on our moomba but its is collapsable and doesnt look as sturdy as this one so Ill have to look into it
Corson Piper sells exactly what you want for a very reasonable. Highly recommend it. Here is mine on my 15 Moomba. I went under the Bimini cause of my tower/Bimini setup...
How far apart you think I need to have the cross bars on the surf rack? I was debating on just wrapping the top bars on the tower and then just strapping them to it.
I thiink it should be good as my wakeboard rack is only like 10" apart and the surfboard has been going there for now.
