I am trying to put together a fast, heavy CD for the summer. I can never remember the names of bands or songs though. Help me! So far I have some Chevelle, Tool, Pantera, Rage, and am now drawing a blank.

As much as I love Thrice, The Alchemy Index is not really heavy. Its definately worth the money though. Try Nonpoint, August Burns Red, and Norma Jean.

Check out Steel Panther. They have a really funny song about bringing back heavy metal. It is hilarious!! Avenged Sevenfold-Scream,Black Tide-Shockwave, Burn Halo-Dirty little girl, Disturbed-Indestrucatible, Lacuna Coil, Pop Evil, Rise Against, Saving Abel, Sevendust, Tool and a whole bunch more. Just some of the bands I have been listening to lately.
