Got a group of 4-5 guys headed out there in a couple weeks to try and get a bunch of riding in. We'll be staying at a waterfront house just a little bit down from the state park. I'm just looking for any tips on any known hazards to avoid, best places to ride, and any cool stuff we should check out while we're there. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Brandon PM DatTexasBoy and / or MICHAH_HARPER. They are going to be the most familiar with where to ride etc...

Don't ride there, too many alligators, snakes, venus fly traps, bigfoots etc....

Man that just got me so pumped up!! What's the typical water depth in the river? Any hidden hazards like the lakes in north Texas where they like to cut trees off just under the water level and leave the stumps?

Lots of stumps, but that's not the worse part. Beware of loch ness monsters..
