Taking new xstar out today for the first time, coming from riding a g23 with -700lbs of lead. How should I distribute the lead in the xstar?

Your best bet: https://teamtalk.mastercraft.com/ or DM any of the Team Riders like Rusty, Steel, or Harley.

Tried all that, nothing. Finally got some input from a MC corporate employee. Thanks.

What were your impressions of the boat and wake?

Didn’t realize they still made them. Awesome boat. Glad to see some wakeboarders still out there!! Instead of all these wussies scared to get hurt (surfers). Lol

Great boat and wake. Fit and finish is second to none. Coming from a G23, the wake is comparable. Only a few pulls so I'll have a more thorough opinion in the spring.

Lol. Xstar is now marketed as much as a surf boat as a wake boat.

I was surprised and sad to see that there are so few wakeboarders out there.

Are the needs of wakeboarder and a surfer that different? I believe that higher wakeboard speeds my hide/smooth out wake imperfections, but we both want a clean big wake.

I've wakeboarded and surfed behind the new X-Star. It is super meaty, but if you max out the ballast about 400# lead in the bow really increases the density of the wake.
