Look at Ronix. Perhaps a One 142?
na jk start with a cheap board. Maybe a Liquid Force Omega 143.

I would say to look at a board 144cm and up.
One you might want to check out is the 07 CWB Faction 144cm, great board for all levels and a board that you will progress on for years to come.

The era is a great board for beginners to advanced and its big to for us bigger guys. As for the 3DS they go cheap, have great support and offer all the technology of modern day bindings. I got a size 13 foot and were a XXL. LOVE EM!!!
