hyperlite premier riders

am going to get a premier board, and I have been looking around at then and have some buddies that ride them also. MY question is if there is really alot of difference in the boards between like the 04 models up to the 07 models?? I rode an 04 when I first started boarding a couple of years ago, and I didn't notice anything about it because I barely was able to stay up back then. But I just don't want to buy an 04 for cheaper if I will be giving up alot of board features by not getting the newer one's. the reviews on all the years of premiere are all good no matter what. Just don't want to pay alot of extra money for a new paint job.

I have 04, 06, & 07 136 Premiers and the only difference between the two designs(the 06 and 07 are the same shape) is the tip/tail design on the 04 has some channels between the molded fins and they took them out in 06. Also the new design is a little thicker and heavier. I love the new shape and like how it rides and pops. I think you would like the 06 better than an 04 for sure if you can find a decent price for it. Good luck with whatever board you choose to go with.

what size you looking for man? i have an 06 that im trying to get rid of. i only used it for half of last season... theni blew out my knee and cant ride this year.

06 and 07 have the removable/replaceable jib ribs on the bottom

I demoed a 07 premier the other day and it didn't fit in my buddies board rack due the jib rails. FYI

I ride an 06 and love it...sick pop and the jibs really save the bottom from the rail rash...fits in my tower fine.

i am looking for a 141. and have seen some 06 models around for sale and one 04 model and the 04 was like 100 dollars cheaper??

I have an 07 Premier 141 that I want to sell. I only rode it a couple times. $300 + shipping.

Grizzly has some 2006 141's on ebay...I picked mine up for $161.50...can't beat that if you ask me. its the same as the 07 just different graphics.

Grizzly still appears to have '06 Premiers on the website. Call and I would bet you they beat the price listed on the website.

I've got a 2004 Premier 136 that I would like to sell if anyone is interested. The board is in great shape and was really only ridden about 5-6 times. I bought both the Subtance and Premier at the same time and ended up going with the Substance but the Premier is also a really good board. Make me an offer if you're interested!

I ride an '05 Premier 141 DNA. It is an awsome board. I prefer it without the fins... I started with an '01 Premier, then switched to the '05 two years ago.

I have not ridden the '06-07s, but I don't think I would care for the jib rails...

I emailed you about the board and some prices.

as for the jib ribs on the premier... they add speed to the board.
and added channels on a board increase the speed of it.
so where the 04-05 premier almost had a lagging feel to it, you get a faster board with the 06-07 model. also makes your landings a tid bit softer. :]

I had an 02 premier and I bought an 06 this year and I love it. It rides higher in the water than my 02 and it is faster. I also think that it pops better.

Whiley’s has some new 05 DNA 2nds and 3rds for under $200. I looked at them and its cosmetic stuff that you can’t see unless they point it out. I didn’t see them on their site but you could call.

great I think I will continue to look for a 06/07 model because I do like the boards alittle faster, it's a little less work on the hands and That is what I need because I only have 3 fingers on one of my hands and it gets alittle tired on the grip if the board drags alot.

Next question is going to be what I need to get for bindings on this new board!! I am leaning heavily towards the byerly's with the boa system on them.
