i just tested the boat with the new ballast system i installed plus a 400 lb fat sac lying on the bow seats.

i had the stock ballast filled which equals 600 lbs
plus 2 fat sacs in the rear compartments which each were 390 lbs plus the 400 lb sac in the bow.

this is just around 1780 lbs and there was only a driver in the boat.
im thinking the boat needs more weight in the front. i was riding at 75 ft and 23.5.

what are other peoples weight setup like in the new X-2.
thanks

I rode yesterday with the same setup minus the 600 in the bow walkway, but with 6 and then 9 people. With nine it was real good, but I had 3 girls in the front, so about 400 lbs up there plus the under bow sack. I liked it, but I could only ride the roam as I still recovering from an injury two weeks ago and can't really ride. Without people up there it definitely needs more weight than just that bow sack. Ian and Ty Udell use your exact setup but add a 400 across the back seat and they say that is near perfect.

also Andrew are using the stock prop or an upgraded one. yesterday with 1800 lbs in the boat it got out of the water good but im wondering with a little more weight and 6 to 9 people like you had yesterday it may need a better prop.
thanks

yeah it definitely needs to be re-propped to ride with that much weight. Tough getting out of the water and tough holding speed, but part of that may be the PP settings. I will have to ask Ian for sure, but I am pretty sure they have a 600 on the floor of the bow.
