First Run Of The Year

Took my first run of the year today, left school early and went to the river. Wore a heater sjirt but it probobly wasn't necesary. I looked pretty bad on the water but it felt so good to be on the water again.

That's a kick in the crotch when I read about people taking their first set of the year and commenting on not needing the heater shirt because it's that hot out already

Damn I can't wait to get all carpet, motor and electrical work done on the 2001! Just riding in a boat is going to be a welcomed experience again, not just riding. I'm amped to see how much of a difference it is going to be going from an i/o to a true inboard.

Is Elkhorn open? That places has been through some ups and downs, didn't want to get there and have there be no ck again! The air temp was about 70 and our boat said the water was 58 but thaty doesn't sound right. I was so amped. Last year I ended the season just getting all my 2wake 180s and an inconsistant 3, I went right out there, right out of the water, Hs 180, s/w HS 180, Ollie 180, sw Ts 180, to a TS 180, tried a 3 and just barley missed the rope.

I hear you on the Cali weather, I think it was in the 90s yesterday. After using a shirt the last couple weeks I finally straight trunked it. Beautiful.
