I have been looking into buying a Shane board and I've heard nothing but great remarks from anyone that has something to say about it. However I want to know if this board is right for me. I currently ride a Fish 133 and in my opinion it looks very similiar to the Shane including the cupped fins and giant spine in the center of the board. I have tried boards like the transcend and the watson before, so is there much of a difference between them and the Shane since they are all basically 3 stage rockers with a spine in the middle?

Also how exactly would the Shane ride compared to the Fish, Watson, or Transcend? and are there any other boards that you guys would recommend that would be worth looking into that provide great pop and land soft?

The Shane was the Subjekt and then Shane incorporated man aspects of the Fish into the Shane. It's a logical transition that you are making.
