Did anybody else catch it? I watched it last night & it felt like a half hour long x-star ad. Some sick stuff was landed, but I really hated the way they edited it, didn't even feel like a competition.

*Spoiler Alert*

Steel won & deservedly so he really was on a different level than everyone else that day.

I really enjoyed it! Felt like whoever edited it wasn't a wakeboarder but w/e
-- Dope to see it on TV
-- Really clutch to see ish go down sometimes it just doesn't happen at these all or nothing competitions & Steel delivered. Absolutely on fire, would love to show that competition to someone from '95. Double mobe? wtf

Couldnt agree more. Steel might as well change his name to Hammer! He went so huge on some of those doubles.

I like it, but yea editing sucked. I just kept thinking how big do your balls have to be to charge full in on those double ups. For most of those guys, that thing was chest high. No way my old ass would do that!

Really wish they would have shown the tricks a bit differently. It wasn't like watching a sport or a competition. I don't need to see the rider get pulled from the dock and the entire double up turn, but it would be nice to get a real speed view of the trick starting with the rider edging out. Everything was slow motion with sporadic view changes. With the slow motion is looks like they have all day to complete the rotations. Show it once in real time and then go to the highlights.

And yeah, as said above, Steel is just on fire right now. He had the top 3 tricks of the day when all he needed was 1.

Haha could you imagine two different people hitting 10's in a comp, grabbed no less, & not even sniffing a win. It's amazing how far we have come!

Hmmmm so the 2016 video they put out last year seems as if it's just a copy of the TV broadcast, it'd be cool if they put together a different edit for the web made from the same footage with real time shots etc
