I currently waiting for my 2017 Axis A20! And have few questions for you guys. Im wondering if my fatsac will connect with the "plug and play" ballast system of axis. They are Sumo Sac From Straight line. I have one 750lbs and one 400lbs. The axis dealer told me if i want additional fatsac they are selling Barefoot fly High. So I guess the plug and play fits on fly high and not straightline i am right? Ive heard that some poeple was cutting some pipe and make custom fit for their fatsac.. I dont know if its a good idea.. Want do you think? Do i sell my sumo sac and buy new Flyhigh or i can keep mine and use the plug n play? Thanks all

Straightline sacs will work fine but the hoses might not line up perfectly. Wouldn't be an issue to cut/adjust them as needed.

heh? SL Sacs were a dead perfect fit in our 2016.

650 bow triangle, twin 450 rears.

The Sumo Sacs will work fine, you just need the Straight Line 1" NPT x 1" Flow Rite

https://www.wakemakers.com/launch-pa...e-fitting.html

Screw one into each fill/drain/vent port for your Sumo bags and plug to the quick connects of the Plug and Play. You'll be all set. You'll need your dealer to drill you a vent line or Y into the vent for your hard tanks and put a check valve on the hard tanks vent line. Either will work.

Hop over to the Axis forums for more info.

Like the other guys are saying.....yes the SL sacs work great. I am running the sumo 450s in my 2016 A20 and they are a perfect fit. No cutting of any hose. I added in a overflow/vent from the bag tapping into the drain line off the hard tank using a Y fitting and wakemakers check valve. Works like a champ. The sumo 450s actually hold just over 475 lbs when bulged.

I have a 750lbs and a 450 sumo sac. I know just one person who surf driver side and he comes like twice a year lol. We all surfing the other side so i was thinking to put my 450 in the driver side and my big 750 on my side. Maybe fill it half way or full depending on poeple in the boat and the wave! And buy a new bow sac for the front. Is that a correct set up ?

I've had sumo, 600s, 750s, and 900s in the rear of my a22! The best bag for figment and what I decided to keep were the sumo 600's. I've had at one point a 600 on one side and a 900 on the other, with both filled to the point of overflowing, the boat still sat perfectly level. A bigger bag is useless unless you have a bigger compartment. It's the length of the bigger bags, that hinders them from taking more water. The bags end up getting trapped under the back seat rest.

Thanks for advice, with all my research i decide to sell my 450. Buy a sumo max 800 and a 750 bow sac. So i will surf with a 750 on the driver side and a 800 on the other. And a front 750 underseat ! I think it will be pretty awesome!

Yeah I was going to ask why you are considering using 450s when you can fit >800 in those compartments. I have 800s in my lockers and they work great and do fill all of the way (and there is room at the top for some vests and whatever else, too). Wakemakers sells some 875s that are custom made for the A20 also.
