I'm working on a television show in Boston called Time Warp and We're shooting a Wakeboarding segment. Does anyone from the Massachusetts area have suggestions of good areas to Wakeboard in. We need to find a place to do our shoot.

e-mail me at t_kiesman@hotmail.com or call me at 617.513.6983

Thanks,

I dont know but that sounds badass! Is that the same show that has been on tv before? I was always hoping they would do wakeboarding. Can't wait to see it!

In a recent Alliance Wakeboarding Mag (9.3 which was 2 ago) they traveled the NorthEast last year. I would also recommend finding a "riders" shop in the area, and they can steer you in the right direction, or hopefully Ben Greenwood or Keith Lyman will contact you.

here's a video of it

I'm sure this isn't the best help, but hope it helps some

You should hire a pro by the name of Keith Lyman. He grew up in Sturbridge, MA which is about an hour outside of Boston. He grew up riding there so he knows some spots. Go to Keithlyman.com for more info on him. He is an amazing rider and a great guy.

Odd that this post should come up now. I am just busy signing and faxing Nicola's release form for her. Phil and Nicola are flying to Massachusets next week to film the show.

Nice, make sure you get some shots of the flex on Nicola's board

Chis,

I dont think anyone is reading this right. It looks like they are looking for a place to shoot not riders to film.

it may be months down the road, but I hope someone with the knowledge will let us know when this show is going to air.

Andy, I am aware of that. It's just odd for me that Nicola asked me to sign the release just as I was reading the post. I have never heard of the show and had only just found out that they had asked Nicola. It appears they are using the K & Q of Wake. Filming has been moved back a week as well since my first post.
I should imagine they will tell Nicola & Phil when it will air.

Unfortunately the Charles River is a no wake zone but it runs right through Boston and that would be a sick back drop. Fort Meadow in Marlboro/Hudson is my home lake so I am obviously a little bias. It's not very big but with all of the trees around it you can almost always find a nice glassy stretch no matter what way the wind is blowing. Most people don't have their boats in the water yet so you could probably have it all to yourself. Qunisigimond in Worcester is long and straight. It gets busy on the weekends but being that it's so early in the season you'd probably be ok. I'm in the area so please let me know if I can help at all.

Joseph, I just sent you a PM with our info. Have a MC store 30 minutes south of Boston. We have a great pond/lake about 2 miles from the store. We'd love to help.

this may be too little too late but Lake Winnipesaukee in NH has a lot of coves and places that are good to ride, the locals know a lot of places.
