Wakeboard sizing

I am in the market for a new cable wakeboard and I am wondering what is the biggest size of board that would fit me? I am 5 foot 9 and currently weigh 145

i would go with a 134cm or 135cm or 136cm at the weight

Good cable boards i would recommend is a liquid forse FLX amazing board on kickers and rails. I have heard alot of good things about slingshot boards on cable as well, i actually just ordered a slingshot board recently and cant wait to ride.

Would a 143 be too big for me at the cable? I have heard that you want a bigger board for cable because it has more surface area, is this true?

yes i honestly think thats way to big. Do you have bad knees. if you want a board with more surface area go for a 139 maybe 140 but all in all a 136 or 137 would be perfect size for you. some boards that go up in size just get more bulky. Some boards like slingshot you might be able to go a little bigger since most are featureless and very light.

if you have bad knees go for that 139 or 140 because it will soften the landings a bit

but like i said get a board for your size it will make edging hitting the ramps more aggressive.

I'm 5 foot 10, 165lbs and just got a Liquid Force Super Trip 139. Yet to ride it due to injury, but did a ton of research and the overall consensus was that the board would be a perfect fit for cable riding at my weight/height.

134-138. I'm 5 10 and 150 lbs and I ride a 135.

Any board recommendations for me? im 5 ' 8 and 170lbs
