Well its getting that time of year to put the boat away..... Does anyone have any ideas on how to clean a standard gray canvas cover... my interior is white and my cover makes in turn gray, I litterally have to put sheets over my seats.. Let me know your thoughts.

use an inudstrial washing machine or take it to your drycleaners. You could also powerwash, but be careful

Then re-apply waterproofing.

we take our sun brella coover lay it out. adn use a broom with a car wash soap. then we rinse it and let it dry. works great.

do you think canvas will clean the same as sunbrella? and will a regular drycleaner have a big enough machine?

My manual states never use dry cleaning fluid. Mild soap only, or washing machine, again no detergent and apply two thin coats of 303 fabric protectant.

Not doubting the manual, but I don't understand how dry cleaning could hurt the cover. Seems like washing it in a washing machine would be much more harsh on it.
