Probably under Correct Craft is my guess.
Also don't use the online NADA it's not a accurate. It doesn't show dealer trade in prices which are important to know and work off of.

Go to the library and get the most current Local copy of the NADA check the dates of the book. Also make a copy of the sheets that pertain to you can be helpful if you buy from dealer. Also be careful using a Dealer's NADA they may show you an expired NADA which will inflate the price. Good luck.

What they said. What are you using the NADA value for? Trade in, purchase value, selling value???

NADA is terrible when valuing Nautiques. I just NADA'd a 2000 Super Air, I added cover, stereo, tower speakers, racks and Average retail came out to 18k without the trailer. If you add the trailer maybe it comes to 19k. That boat in good/great shape is worth around 25-28k real world pricing. I would think a slightly bumped and bruised one would be worth 22-25k and trade in value would be at least 20k. Now one thing to consider is what a dealer is giving you for a trade in doesn't mean squat. He could give you 10% more than someone else but he could be raping you on the price of the boat he is selling.

I think your best bet is to search the classifieds here, onlyinboards, craigslist and boattrader to get some comps. Do this with both the boat you are trading in and the boat you are buying. I think you could probably expect to get 75% of the actual market value on the trade in. If you have sales tax you should be able to save yourself some tax on the new boat.

What exactly are you selling and what are you looking at buying?

I am selling a 2001 Moomba outback. And I am just looking to upgrade. Something with a better wake and more room. The boats I am looking at are a 2004 Malibu VLX, 2004 SAN 210, 2008 crossover 211 and some moomba LSV and XLV.

Unfortunately, after looking at your ad, your boat is probably worth 14 or 15 and trade in is probably about 10k. If you can get anything above 10k trade in for your boat and get a decent price on whatever you are buying you are probably making out pretty good.

If all the boats you are looking at have triple ballast, PP, tower speakers, tandem trailer and are in good shape this is what I would expect to pay for them.

2004 Malibu VLX:low ot mid 30's
2004 SAN 210: low to high 30's
2008 211: If used mid to high 40's
2007 XLV: mid to high 30's
2007 LSV: low to mid 30's

The thing everyone needs to remember is that blue book does drive the market. There is no way I could put that Super Air up for sale at our dealership and get 25K plus out of it. The banks would never loan on that kind of number, and typicaly the guy in the market for a 25K boat does not have 10-15K down. I think that the value all depends on what someone is willing to pay for it. Some boats have sold 10K below book, but nothing has been selling for over book.

I disagree that nothing has been selling for over book. My 1999 Supra launch was priced at 17,500 when book was 15k. I ended up with 5 offers in 4 weeks time and 4 of the offers were between 16k and 17k. I must have had 12 calls in 4 weeks and at least 7 people come to see the boat. It sold fast with multiple offers the weekend it sold (two weeks ago). I will say I was amazed at the traffic my old boat generated.
