My son loves wakeboarding and wakesurfing!!!!!! He is currently riding a Ronix Vision 120 but the bindings will no longer fit his feet (8.5 mens is his current shoe size) and he will be on the big side this year for that board. Is a LF Trip 134 to big for him? He is 5'0 tall 90lbs. I'm just not sure what to order and I dont want order to big but I dont want him to grow out of it in 6 months.

Any advice?

If you're looking at a trip I'd recommend going with the 130 first. It should suit him okay up to around 140-145lbs. He's in the ballpark for a 134 as well but on the very low end weight wise.

You exactly described my son at the end of last season. I moved him up to a CWB Reverb 130. It was perfect size for him, he definitely had to adjust a little, but was soon popping higher than ever and clearing the wake with ease.

ronix vision/august is rated to 43 kg's (94.6pounds I think) so he's heading to the edge => vault at 128cm is next Ronix option.

my 9yo twins ride vision/august but are a bit lighter than that - we will be organising new bindings in the next few months (district/luxe) as they have both grown out of and/or worn out the originals

all the advice I have seen is not to rush them to the bigger board until they are ready and there are kids doing awesome things on vision/august boards (mine are wake2wake with plenty of pop - especially boy)

they love RONIX so they'll probably end up on the vault/crush in another 12 months unless something else pops up

My daughter (10) is tall but weighs nothing (maybe 4'10" and 65lbs).. she's riding a Ronix Krush 127 (which I think is the same shape as the vault).

So Ronix Vault 128 is a better option? or Is it better to go with 134? Is there that much of a difference?

I think the 134 would be too large. A 128 or 130 would be a better option.

The 128-130 is the way to go. If he comes off and ends up being face towards the water its going to be hard for him to flip on to his back with the longer board. 8-10 centimeters is a pretty big jump in board size, 134 is huge
