Wet Sounds WS-420 SQ Microphone Issues

So my Wet Sounds WS-420 SQ on my 2014 Axis A22 is having issues. The microphone is really touchy on when it wants to work and not work. I ordered a new system thinking it was just the microphones issue, but it appears that is not the case. It also when completely cut out the tower speakers randomly as it thinks the microphone is on, but in fact is not being used. Any one had any issues similar to this.
