I have a slider baord that tore up last time I was at the OWC. Being that it's just a slider board, is there a way to fix it so the damage won't get any bigger ? (some type of glue, more Fiberglass, etc) PS I've heard the term epoxy... what exactly is that and how would it work?

yep, looks like its done to me. epoxy helps to seal chips, that looks structrual(sp). Looks like it's new board time...

You could lay glass and resin but it wont hold that board is done.

like everyone else said, your core is shot, I think you would be risking injury if you rode that board... it may self destruct on ya

you would have to sand the whole tail section.But3 or 4 layers off fiber glass should do the trick top and bottom

thanks for the advice. Not what I wanted to hear, but advice none the less. I don't think it's worth laying down layers of fiberglass. (between money, the work required, and messing up the shape) Since it's just a slider board, I think I'll ride until it explodes on me. I have to get my $100 back that I spent on it. This happened at the very beginning of my last cable park session and it held up that entire day, so hopefully it has a few more days left. Wish me luck...

You've kinda mucked that thing up good. I would go down to Home Depot and get a $10 quart of boat bondo that is permeated with fiberglass. Try and clean out as much foam as you can in the broken area and fill it with the boat bondo. Clamp it between a couple stiff pieces of wood. You may be able to get away with not putting any glass on the outside that way.
