No offense to any of these guys, I watch & re-watch every part these guys put out and I couldn't totally disagree with the Aaron getting the alliance pick with how good his x-games part was, even though it didn't even win , but I cannot believe Harley didnt even get a nomination. I feel like he's brought the sport to the public more than most have with his riding and growing stardom. he won the pro wake tour handedly and stomped the perfect run with 3 double flips in it...

I was surprised to not see Harley on the list either. I thought skill set diversity might be the reason, but looking at the list, there are several guys that specialize in one facet of the sport. Dowdy and Grant for example are focused on their core competency, where guys like Raph and Rathy do it all, and do it all very well.

Anyway......I watched the videos......Dowdy got my vote. No one else can land half of the tricks in his video. That deserves the W in my opinion.

If you look at the riders on that list, almost every one of them is either a rider that has a ton of style or a very unique riding style. Harley really doesn't fit in to either of those categories, although I wouldn't say his style is bad or anything. If a one dimensional rider was going to win it, Dowdy would have my vote over Harley any day of the week. He doesn't win as many contests, but the video parts he put out last year (his first season after ACL surgery) were second to none. More bangers than I can count and every one of (including the w2w 12) them looked effortless.
