What's going on? I just read in TW Business that Scotty Broome just signed with them. Is Double Up back on it's feet? Isn't Nelson the designer over at Hyperlite? Strange!

Joe,
Is Double Up a subset of Hyperlite, like Byerly and J-Star were/are? (NOT STARTING THE COMPANY OWNERSHIP DEBATE!!!!!) Just curious, that would explain the Nelson connection. I wasn't able to find much information on Double Up's 2011 line other than the "Royale" model. Anybody know where to see more of their stuff?

The DU brand has been churning out boards by Ian Clark and Activ Concepts out of AUS for the last five years. GN isn't "involved" with the current product line as far as I know.

Sorry that might have sounded confusing - Ian runs the show down there and does not shape anything. Most of the most boards are from the classic molds from 2001 - 05.

Awesome man! Thank you for that insight! The shapes I've seen over the last few years haven't seemed to change much, and that really clears up why that is!

Interesting... I had no idea they were still around.

Double Up was sold off and does business out of Australia, it has been that way for a long time.
