Alright everyone hopefully I can get some help here today and save myself some cash fixing this thing. I need to diagnose an issue I have not come accross before. I was out Saturday and ran the boat for almost an hour, then stoped an idled while filling up the bags to ride. The boat just shut off without any indication. When I tried to start it up it did the famous "click" liek the battery was dead so I thought nothing of it and got a jump. It fired right up without even having to let it sit and the other boat was just sitting at idle. Next I start moving again and the depth finder goes out, and the warning alarm for the depth starts ringing and wont stop. Then my gauges start going haywire. Finally I get to the idle zone and the thing starts backfiring and running in lymph mode and I somehow made it to the dock (actually died and coasted into dock). At this point it would not give me any power when turning key, no noises or anything. The red breaker on the motor also trips from time to time and it did at this point but I was not able to start it up again like normal. Just for clarification all day the thing read 14V and it read 14V before all teh gauges started acting crazy as well. So at this point I am ruling out a bad battery or alternator? Sorry for the long post I wanted to be as detailed as possible!

Could it be a bad MDC or Brain Box at the motor?-- Boat has 1500 hrs on it
