Who is going to the first Nor Cal INT event this weekend at Villa Lagos?
I have heard that people from Nor Cal, Oregon and Nevada will be there. It should be a real fun time with a Guitar Hero III comp, free dinner, karaoke, and a special guest singing and playing the guitar on Saturday.

danny, I was on the sacramento river, and it was really shallow, went up the american river were everyone anchors and ties up, had to go either left or right, I said left, my dad said right, so I went right, couldn't see through the water, hit an entire tree. worst part was trying to pull it off the tree.

Off-Axis is sponsoring winch slider rides on Saturday.

Danny, I hope you ride better that you did at DRA

Trevor C: I hope your Ipod is better than mine.

Randy, Roll down anyway, we have a special parking spot for you.

Kendall, Nice to see you can beat the boys. The boys all think that they are the best at GHIII.

Squid, You are only old if you think you are old. Most people don't know that you were PWT rider of the year in 1965.

Peter - you stole my 'adopt a wakeboarder' as your pick for guitar hero? Well then, I guess I have to pick Chris Dykman to win! Hope you make it Chris.

That was a cool event, I'm glad it cleared up pretty much at the last second.

I was wondering [post comp] what the rules for intermediate mean when they say 2 spins, does that mean #1: 180 #2: 360,... If I threw 2 different 3's would I get bumped? [i.e. s/w t/s 3 and h/s 3]?

[partial thread jack over]
Old     (wakedad33)      Join Date: Oct 2005       05-25-2008, 7:47 PM Reply
Trevor the 180 would not count as a spin, two 3's are fine in Intermediate.

how was the event over all n could you demo the hyperlite n CWB boards
Old     (bamacpa)      Join Date: Aug 2006       05-26-2008, 1:52 PM Reply
hawk7, the rules state that if you have more than two solid inverts or multiple 360 variations you will be bumped. 1200 points maximum per trick. Your switch ts 360 would be a 1200 point trick. If you have two different 360s at the first event of the season and they are solid, you may get bumped during the season if you progress any. If you've got those skills you would probably be better off in advanced. What inverts do you have?
Old     (hawk7)      Join Date: Apr 2007       05-26-2008, 3:10 PM Reply
I barely have a tantrum and a scarecrow. I have only landed one of each, I have attempted a tantrum well over 50 times, and I have tried a crow 3 times, the tantrum probobly isn't solid, nor is the crow, right? I currently have one 360, the sw ts, which I have tried 3 times and landed once in practice and once yesterday in competition, I figure that is solid, and I was thinking of trying to get a sw hs 3 solid to get a leg up in the competition, but If I did a sw ts 3 and a sw hs 3 I would get bumped? I had niether at the begining of the season, does that matter? I just really want to make it to nationals and I probobly won't with no inverts and one 3.

edit: I just stepped up to intermediate yesterday, I don't know if it would be a good idea to skip it all together.

You definitely would not get bumped if you do not have more than one solid invert and only one solid 360. You will be very competitive with a switch 360 and some other 500 point grabs and 180s. Remember, you can throw the same 360 on each pass. That would be your two maximum 360s. Since you have a solid 360, I would work on getting a solid invert before another 360. Just my .02.
