Correct Craft's Super Air Nautique "Whaleship"

As much as I like them, seriously how is Correct Craft seriously expecting to market this 29ft (+whatever with a platform which I can only imagine will be huge) Super Air Nautique?

I know there's a market for the bigger boats but 30ft? Who can tolerate that in their garage? Nobody that I can think of. I've always joked about wanting a lobster boat to ride behind but I just have no idea what they're thinking with this thing. Yes to bathroom, and yes, it appears it'll sleep 2 but for God's sake when does this stuff end? We're in the middle of an economic depression - MAYBE just emerging from it and Nautique wants to put out a 30 foot wake boat? No forward sweeping tower - back to the old style - and of course, twin engines - diesels. Yup. Press release is landing everywhere now. I'm befuddled.

The weirdest thing - is that is actually looks like a Nautique despite having more in common with a freaking sportfish.

Just don't know what to make of this today. I can't fathom the cost. 175k?

April Fools?

Can't tell. I didn't get a press release yet and I am on their distribution but I did hear about a bigger boat long time ago. Not a "whaleship" though. But it makes me think of that big Mastercraft 300 and maybe a competitor to that? Or something analogous to the big CSX.

I didn't even notice the date. Just reporting what I got.

But if you did read that MC was doing the 300 wouldn't you have questioned it? I sure would have. Especially if it was announced on April 1.
