We aren't asking about passing a law that requires you to ask someone purchasing a gun "Do you have mental health issues?" that would be stupid.

We want mental health professionals, police, teachers, and family to be able to go to the cops and say "This dude shouldn't have a gun" then the cops can take away their gun, and the guy can prove he's not nuts before getting it back.
Seems reasonable.
