Hi everyone,

I am currently looking at a 2013 G23 with 600 hours and the 550 PCM motor for $80k or a 2013 Malibu 23 LSV with 450 hours and the 350 monsoon for $70k.

I know the engine differences are substantial, but besides that, is the G23 that much better of a boat?

What price should I try to negotiate on both boats?

I do a lot of riding at 5000' so power is a big thing.

Thanks!

At 5,000 feet, you're going to want as much engine as you can get.

G23 and never look back

I've spent alot time on both boats. The wakeboard wake isn't even in the same category. You would have to have bags laying all over the boat to get the LSV to the level of the stock G23 wake.

Also the G23 feels so much bigger inside than the LSV.

Surf wake I don't know they all have a good enough wakes for me to do my 360 so it's like what ever it surfs.

Might need premium fuel.

The 550 does need premium fuel for the supercharger.

My head is spinning. I bought a 2012 LSV brand new for a lot less than you are looking at for your used purchase. Apparently should have held onto it, didn't because the 350 got way bogged down when weighted.

I love an LSV, but that's not near enough engine for that boat. Especially not at 5k feet.
