Advice on 95 malibu Response?

Am considering a 95 Malibu Response for around $12k.. New to wakebording boats and would like any advice. All manufacturers seem to have made big improvements in the past few years. Is a 95 too old to consider?

It's certainly not too old to consider, but I wouldn't buy it sight-unseen.
