New to wakeboarding

Hey! i have recently just started wakeboarding and love it! I'm wanting to get myself a cable board and bindings and was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? my instructor had me on a 129 board and said that was fine or a 130. Also i was wondering if a girl has to get a girls board or does it not really matter as long as the board fits you. Thanks!
