So I'm considering our first boat/surf boat purchase this year. One question my wife had asked is if I was willing to tow said boat on vacations. We love the Sandpoint/Couer D'alene area. I'm looking for other US destinations near the Alberta/BC/Saskatchewan border that would be a reasonable tow, and have decent lakefront rentals. I've heard Whitefish is nice any other suggestions? Any special requirements when trailering in the US I should be aware of?
Tow vehicle is a 07 Tundra with the 4.7, boat will likely be a 20-22' surf boat (Moomba/Axis/MB), though likely a T22 (fingers crossed).
