I'm stuck between carbon fiber, flat black, or digital camo. I will be putting the angled axis sticker on it after the wrap. I wish I knew how to use photoshop so I could get a better mental image. Just curious if anyone has seen boats done with any of these wraps and what they thought. I'm also open to other opinions as well.

I've always been a less is more type of person. I think flat black would look good, but I also think a small pixel digital snow camo would look sweet. What are your interior colors?

I think black or silver carbon fiber would be awesome. Either of the 3 will probably look sick. I agree on the less is more on the wraps

Gel, always gel. Only wrap if your gel is physically damaged way beyond compounding and polishing and the boat is not worth the expense of shooting gel... and at that point it'd be a tossup between trying to match and patch the gel to be presentable, wrap, or paint. For me it'd probably be either make it somewhat presentable and run it into the ground, or decide the boat is a keeper and do new gel.

I'm liking the snow camo too. Can anyone photoshop? I think seeing a few wraps on the boat will help my decision. It's just a black a22, black tower, silver flake platform.

You have an all black A22 and you are going to wrap it? Is the gel in really bad shape? Personally I'd murder it out before I'd wrap it.

It's black with the silver flake platform and top piece. It just looks bland to me. Needs some color or something to help it out. I've done the murdered out look with most of my cars so I'm wanting to try something different for my boat.

IMO I think either the flat black (that would look killer just murder the thing out) Or go with a digital camo with a little colour like the second or fourth image with the red or orange.

I have a warped boat. Do not go solid black. The darker and more even the color, the worse every nick and bump will show. This is a big sticker & it is not durable. It's a good cosmetic fix for about 4-5 years. That's is. I'm regretting mine a bit. I wish I would've just painted and clear coated it. Mine is showing every little ding and gouge because it's so dark.
If you do wrap it, I really like the scion #3. That grey/khaki digital camo won't show scuffs too bad and is nice looking.

I like the digital camo idea, especially the sample with the orange. A bonus with the digital camo is that blemishes will be less noticeable. Back in the day, I had a Scion xb like the one in the picture, minus the wrap. I bought it with every bell and whistle, then lowered it, put rims on it, added low profile tires, a shift kit, etc., all before driving on Philly's roads. 5000 miles later, with my back killing me, I traded it in at an ENORMOUS loss. The moral of the story is never, ever, pimp out a Scion . . . .

Heres a couple things to think about when your going to wrap that i wished i would have thought of. Like Jed said above if it's dark it's going to show every knick or scratch and if you cut the vinyl deep enough to show your get coat that can really stick out. So one of the camo looks (especially the digital camo) should work well because you won't notice a scratch as bad. My problem is where i have a large black section in my wrap if it gets a deep scratch the white of my gell coat really sticks out there. You can patch them and from ten feet away you will never notice but up close it looks bad. I've been very happy with my wrap and i know that a few years from now it will be time to change it up but it was a lot cheaper than painting and clearing. The other thing is do the trailer to match!!!! It's quick simple and cheap to make it match and it really makes it stand out. My boat spends more time on the trailer than in the water (yeah i know it sucks but it's reality). I get more compliments on the trailer matching the boat than anything.

I think it's too dark. I like the one ultimate boat wraps did on the previous page.

I like that. Might take a little of the black out of it.

I think it looks killer. Any less black and it wouldn't tie into the tower as well.

It might be because I'm in the Army and have to wear it every day but I HATE digi camo! Go with a regular fluid style snow camo.
