If you want to spin and do more skate style tricks I would say something like a phase 5 board.

Sounds like you want a hybrid board.

Think a used TWP Comp X or Squirt.

you say that you want to stay on a surf style board, but that you are currently riding a CBW Tsunami. The CWB Tsunami, is a skim style board.

so do you want to stay on a skim or try a surf style board?
$350 is a tough number because you are still dealing with compression molded boards. It will be easier to find real skim style boards close to that price, but real surf style boards will be tougher to find.
For a brand new board for $350 the best board out there is the Inland Surfer Squirt. It is compression molded, but works extremely well.

Here's a Triple X for $350. Maybe someone can give their opinion on it. I think I've seen them cheaper on Ebay.

I didn't know the cwb tsunami was a skim style board.
what is the differance between a surf and a skim.
I'm looking for something that I can spin and slash the wake?

Thank You..

Tony, you can spin and slash on any board. Skim boards are thin and usually have one small fin. Skim boards are very easy to spin. Surf boards are thicker and have two or more large fins. Surf boards have more drive which helps with air tricks, but they are a bit harder to spin than skims. Drew Danielo and Keenan Flegel ride skim style boards. James Walker and Chase Hazen ride Surf style boards.

Thank's Mitch.
would I be better going with a skim or a surf style for my $350 price range...
Way 2 many board's the pick from.... I don't have a way to demo anyother board's...
I don't mind my cwb tsunami, just looking for something that is quicker turning and more fun.
I can spin 360's on the tsunami. just looking to step it up some!!!

if you like the Tsunami and can do 360s on it you should stick with a skimboard. i ride a calibrated skim and i love it. it is very responsive and doesn't take any effort to keep with the wake.
