Thanks!

I'm 6'1'' 180 lbs. Is a 42'' good for me?

michael, i'd say that 42" is a little too big for you, go with a 38 to 40. i'm a lot heavier than you and use a 41" Oak. but it's all personal preference.

they have been known to have quality issues. the 2010 Obscura wood concaves seem like a good shape, but ive already been hearing about those boards cracking and taking on water after the first set with now w2w or rails.
for a solid wood concave that you can get for a good price i would check out Woodworks. they will get you a board any size you want for $230. I usually recommend Oak Wakeskates as well but they are not available yet as well as Remote Wakeskates.

if you're getting one from Evogear, why not consider the 08 byerly 38 or the 08 hyperlite vinyl 108, those seem to be good first boards that'll last you a long time, and you get an extra 30% off on closeouts so that makes them really really cheap.

I started on a 43 and half way through my 1st season dropped down to a 40 and back then I was about 205lbs 6'1" Now I have 2 40s 1 flat one bi, a 41 bi, the 43 concave and thinking about trying a 39 concave and as of 2 minutes ago I'm at 168 and still 6'1''
