Ok the stock audio system is not bad as long as you're doing less than 30mph. It consists of 4- 6 1/2" speakers 2 at the bow & one on each side about 2' behind the bucket seats and has some sort of bazooka sub under the passenger side console which is also where the decent Sony deck is located & ALL components are ran off said deck. Now to put it into perspective I have the same amount of speakers less the sub on my ATV. At the moment I'm not in a position to spend the $3k that the boat deserves with that being said I have a good friend that has a REV410 that made 3 rides on his RZR and hasn't been used since still in mint condition that he'll sell for $700. I've read a lot of good reviews and figure it's a step in the right direction. The only issue I might have is clearance with the obvious placement being in the center of the tower. I haven't put a tape on it but boat spec says the tower has a 6'-3" clearance & a REV410 has a height of 11" sooo 5'4" is pretty low. Is this a common problem or is the Glastron tower just short.
If I were to go with the REV410 I also have a spare 10" sub that could be utilized what size and how many channel amp would be sufficient. I am NOT an audio installer but am going to give it my best shot. Do you guys typically have separate controls for tower speakers and other highs?
Thanks for all input in advance
