What's up guys.?.? I haven't been around here much in the last few years. Busy riding, opening my own business and doing the family thing.

After an amazing run with Master Craft and Malibu, I'm boatless for the first time in my life and I'm considering buying another boat to tide me over until I can get what I really want.

I started out 13 years ago with a new Sanger DLX Wake package boat. I loved that boat, but it was always slammed to the point of never leaving the drivers seat in order to keep from sinking... Hahahaha.

After that boat I had a '05 X2 and then the CIE X-stars, a LSV and 3 years of MXZ's.

I have fond memories of the DLX and I'm going to look at a cherry '02 V210 today. You guys think I'll be stoked on that boat, or should I chill out for a year, bum rides, and buy a '16 A22 next year (FWIW the new '15 A22 is badass......)

Thoughts??? I'd like to have a boat of my own so I can get the family out on the water if possible.

There is no school like the old school. I've put 1000hrs on mine and still love it

Don't be silly. If you got a V210 you'd never want that Axis and you'd be enjoying it too much to go look for anything else.
More seriously, family time in the boat is the best time. I'd go for now rather than later.

Handles like a sports car=check
Good on gas=check
Good wake=check
Vdrive=check
No depreciation=check
What was your question again?

Such a solid boat.

I love the boat we got but was actually looking for a v210. I love them, and they just drip sexyness when loaded down. How did it look today? If the $ is right I say grab it.

Buy the Sanger now, drive it into spring and sell it, detail it, throw on some small add ons and you will likely break even. Than buy the next boat.

Keep in mind ANY newer wake boat offers lots of cool new things that make our boating time easier and safer.

I love the looks of a slammed V210. I reminders me of a bagged classic car sitting on the ground.

But man I remember seeing your video's back in the day with the X-star. Watching the nose on the thing just kiss the top of the water. That was the biggest wake in the sport back then.

I think you should consider a 215. I think that 210 is going to feel very small inside given what you're used to.

I was thinking the same thing. Also they're slightly more desirable for when you go to resell it.

Very true, but if he gets a V215 he's going to so sad when he finally drives his next boat.

Another vote for the 215. Such a great boat for the money.

can't go wrong with a 210 if a 215 isn't in the cards

I bought a really clean 2006 V210 about a month ago for 21k. Barely a scratch on her. Love the boat so far.

Evan,
You just drove and rode behind one. The wake is not as big as some of the new wake ships out there but plenty good enough. Handles well and holds speed too. Nothing wrong with the old MC 205 hull either.
