A buddy of mine bought a loaded 03 team edition last month for 27k. Boat is mint with low hrs. I am not sure about the prices in your part of the country, but that price seems high for a no perfect pass boat.

You might be able to get the price down a little bit, but I would gladly pay $31k for a SAN with 110 hours on it! Those boats are absolutely bullet proof and those hours mean the thing is barely broken in. I'd just give it a once over, get a compression check (as a formality) and buy her up if it all comes back good. Dropping Perfect Pass in for $1,200 is a small price for a boat that will provide years of fun.

^^^ yep. What he said. I've had my 05 since new with no probs. If this boat is clean and hasn't been stored outside, I'd go for it.

Oh, and it's on a really good trailer too.

Does it have the GT-40? I would offer him 28k.

I think that is a fair price, maybe talk him down 1K. 02-03 SAN is a great boat. It Iooks mint, low hours, great colors, nice trailer & summer is here so don't expect a ton of give-aways right now. I sold my 03 for slightly more over the winter. I would take the SAN over the Centurion any day

Great reference tool. Here is that exact boat (assuming its got the excalibur motor) and current market prices figured by nadaguides. This price does not include the trailer, but does account for the tower and LCS (ballast). Obviously there is no PP so that would not be factored in and ultimately make the boat less desirable. So basically $31,000 is way too much. Given every market is different as well as the condition from boat to boat. I sell Nautique's here in Orlando and can personally tell you that boat is way over priced. Get him down to mid 20's and I'd say you got a good deal. We just sold an 2005 with only 47 hours on the original motor for close to the same price that guy is asking. Just trying to help ya out

This must be Kobe Bryant's old boat. No other explanation for it.

Both those 2001 are great deals! It is hard to compare a 01 to a 02 because there was some significant changes. I live in California and if I was the owner of that 02 and you offered me mid 20's I would laugh in your face. Remember that we are in mid May (prime boat season). I have found that NADA is normally way off. Try to talk him down, but I would bet that boat sells near 30k before end of summer (if it is in excellent condition).

As an 02 SANTE owner, I've seen 'em go for higher and lower. Just depends on where you are, how clean it is and how much you want it.
