It's hard as learning a total new trick!!! I got my backroll locked since 4 seasons and I can't grab it! I got to slow my rotation to grab my board and I didn't tried enough to do it! I'm closer to grab my hs fs 3 than my backroll, but without grab, backroll is a lot easier than my 3!!! Weird!

For me the easiest way is stalefish.... one key is that when you tuck way more you'll flip way way faster... so it has to be a slower start to your flip then with the tuck it will come out right.

I would start by grabbing your boot, then just slowly work your way down until you find the board.

There was a recent thread which discussed this subject that had some good advice:

The key to grabbing any invert is to look at your board when you reach for the grab. Also, really concentrate on the grab and don't worry too much about the rotation of the backroll. When I was first learning to grab my backroll, I was too worried about getting my body/board all the way around and sticking the landing, so I never ended up connecting my hand with the board. I would reach for the board really quick and then think "Oh no, I'm gonna crash!" If you just focus on planting your hand on the board, your rotation will take care of itself naturally.
