Thinking of heading to Lake Greeson this summer for tent camping and wakeboarding with the family
Any thoughts or info would be appreciated

Why Greeson? Ive never been there so im just curious how the lake is. Everytime i hear camping it involves going to Ouchita, claiming and island for you and your crew and partying on the island till you pass out, waking up early and riding hungover.

Hit up Bull Shoals. It even got a feature as being Murray's favorite lake from growing up.

For now I am going for about a week 1st Lake Greeson then Ouachita and last Lake De gray then home. Didn't want to travel further east of Hot Springs. May hit up Bull Shoals later in the summer. Bull Shoals looks to have great potential as well.

Bull Shoals will beat any of those lakes when it comes to good conditions and not being crowded, especially if you go through Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock. That area is so isolated, and low populated, that you can always find good water especially early and late season...April-May and mid August-September. Check out www.bullshoalslakeboatdock.com

I personally like Degray best. You can't beat as a wakeboard lake. Plus, you are surrounded by some of the best riders in the state, and everyone knows eachother. Friendly place.

I agree with Caleb..DeGray and Ouachita is full of awesome, friendly riders. Bull Shoals and Norfork(Where I ride) is less crowded (wakeboarder wise) and you can almost find smoothe water for every set.

Ouachita is one of my favorite lakes in the U.S. I drive boats on that lake for a camp for half the summer, and it is absolutely breathtaking.
