Anyone out there installed LEDs in an older X-2? Any advice on placement to achieve maximum lighting? I'm thinking 2 up front by the speakers on each side, one under driver dash, one on passenger side by speaker, one just under back seat, one on the driver's side by the step, and two clusters on the Tower facing down. I bought mine from WWW.LEDHOUSTON.COM. 6 Tri-Star and 4 Clusters.

This is what I've done over the last 2 months. I started with plain green 5mm and 3mm LEDs. I ordered 1200 of them and casat the lights for the swim deck with 120 lights and put 8 LEDs in each speaker. The amp mounts and the sub-ring have 15 LEDS each. I am currently in the prcess of casting "kidney shaped" rings to go under the lips of my storage areas so that they glow at night. I also lit up the cooler so the ice in it takes a sweet green glow--I'm almost done with that so no pics yet. It's not an X star but it'll give you an idea what you can do with LEDs. Drink holders will be done this summer with the tower speakers I've yet to buy.
