Ok guys. I had a thread a while back about a couple boats. Now I am very serious about finding a v drive. I need to stay under 30k. And 04 or newer. I found a couple but they sold faster than I could go check Em out. So if anyone is selling or knows of anyone selling. Please let me know. I live in spokane wa. And would drive or meet to pick up the boat. As long as it was only a days drive away. Thanks for the help

Relax dude. There's a reason why those other boats slipped out from under you. It's still peak season. Gotta strike while the iron is hot. Otherwise wait until the off season.

Just do a search on the Sacramento Craigslist for boats between 20k-35k. You should find a few different Sanger v210 or v215 priced between 25-35k, 2003-2006. They come up all the time. You can also do a search by price only and it will extend the search to the bay area. Lots of boats up for sale near the Delta.

Also, you're asking for an 04 v drive under 30? Maybe with high hours, rough interior or a less popular brand...... Good luck.

Nobody "needs" a boat? Take your time, do research, find what you want, then act!

If you're willing to travel or pay for shipping there are some nice deals to be had in TX, AZ & some other states. North Cali has got to have some deals with the water crisis?

Here is a MB in Spokane, I talked to the guy a couple days ago. Says it is a 6.0 with a little over 600 hours for 24,999. I have seen the boat just from driving by and it looks pretty nice. http://spokane.craigslist.org/boa/4580791385.html

I just recently bought a boat and was looking in that price range religiously for the last month. I know it's a little far, but this was the best deal I could find. I think it's the best deal for the $.

http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv...544541364.html

If you play your cards right, I know for a fact he is willing to take 30 for it. Not too many deals better than that. I used to live in spokompton myself. I miss riding on long lake.

Yep. Long is not bad. We have a sea ray 180 now and it's just too small for us now that my son is older and had friends out more. I have done research and am not going to just buy whatever. But we do know we are ready to go vdrive.

I was going through to look at the mb but between the hours and the flames my wife said no to way.

Not sure if you meant that the 05 vlx I posted was buying "whatever." But you're going to be hard pressed to find a better deal than that. 370hours, wedge, optional belly ballast, as well as the newer vlx hull. I almost pulled the trigger myself, but decided at the last minute to up my price range.

Check in that centurion out tomorrow. I called last week and he said it was sold but I guess it didn't work out so it's back for sale. It doesn't have many options. What do you think a good offer would be?

So other than some gel coat repair. The centurion holds up well. The interior I'd in excellent shape. And he is willing to go down on price so I am going to wet test it monday. Should be good. Has the black scorpion motor. If it runs good I will buy it. Nice and roomy and has some options that are nice.

Only a few hours away from you, 2007 Moomba Outback V. 340 hours. I'm not a fan of the wrap, but he has pics of what it looks like without it on.
The good thing about buying a boat with a wrap, if you don't like it, just take it off! $26,500

I called and talked to him. He was nice enough to send me a video and everything. Thing is its a bare bones boat also. And he added ballast and stereo. Only has single axle trailer and was in salt at one point so I decided against it. Thanks for the heads up though.

What options is the Centurion missing, and what gel coat repair is needed?
Old     (phathom)      Join Date: Jun 2013       07-28-2014, 9:42 AM Reply
I think the saltwater part should be a mandatory thing to list in an ad. It saves a lot of people time who don't even want to mess with a salt water boat.

Doesn't have pp. And gel is mostly elbow grease. But the bow hit the dock and is probably a good 400.00 repair. Other than that it's great.

Just drove it. I now understand what you are all talking about when you say vdrive is so nice compared to I/o. So smooth

So what did you end up getting?
Old     (gravity)      Join Date: Jul 2009       08-04-2014, 9:28 PM Reply
Got the 06 centurion. Couldn't be happier. We got stuck in a storm on long this weekend and I could not believe how well it did in the chop and huge rollers from the storm.

Also the wake is a nice improvement firm my sea ray. Has a lot of pop. My sea was small and more flat.

Which Centurion did you get?
Old     (gravity)      Join Date: Jul 2009       08-05-2014, 4:33 AM Reply
Air warrior elite c4 with black scorpion motor.

Cool. My last boat was a Centurion Elite V C4. Depending on your prop, it should get some pretty good fuel mileage. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask me or ask centurioncrew.com.

Cool man. I'm not sure on the prop but it did better than I expected on gas so far.

Gel was pretty bad but I got it lookin new. Also did a good scrub on the inside. Trailer needs all cleaned up also but for the rest of the season we are just going to have fun with it. For the deal we got I'm fine with a little elbow grease. It was always serviced and runs great. Would never own another I/O. Name: uploadfromtaptalk1408909063176.jpg

Nice boat and nice job on the clean up. Nothing makes it more yours than scrubbing and making it like new. Good job!

Get a good conditioner for your seats now that you scrubbed them back to awesome. There is a LOT of product out there to use and I suggest the Boat Bling line up inside and out. Congrats on the new ride, she's a beaut!
