finally got the motor back in the boat. I was able to clean up a few items including the motor mounts and replace all the important hardware like the trunnion studs and motor mount isolators. I also replaced the driveshaft's dripless packing system with the one from OJ. A bunch of other items were removed, cleaned and repainted too. Anti-seize has also become a great friend in this process. Here are pics of the entire sequence from start to finish. Looking good. Thanks for the tip on the other thread, I don't know whether I'll find a lift like that but the old man is going to have a chat to a dude about a digger, so that should do the trick.
