First, I would like to thank Dave for his effort and all the other people who have donated items to make this years auction happen.

Second, I am sure there are plenty of people that have fallen on hard times in this tough economy. I am sure that many people out there have wake boarding gear that is in serviceable condition that is no longer used. Why not give to someone who can use it?

Please consider offering it as a gift on the site to someone less fortuate than you. All I ask is if you receive a gift, you offer up another item if you have one. Remember this is about GIVING to others that are in need.

Here is mine:

CWB Faction Bindings in size medium (they tend to run a little large). Not sure what year they are. Should fit 10 shoe size or larger. These are in new never been used condition. I would be rocking these if they only fit my foot. They do NOT come with mounting hardware.

Hyperlite Temet bindings that are used but in good condition. Should be good for shoe size 7.5 - 10? No mounting hardware.

I don't have much gear that I don't use every time I go out, but I've got a Corona trucker hat with bottle caps around the brim that's been autographed by Shaun Murray, it's been worn, but it's still perfectly good hat! I could do a free day of wakeboarding, I would provide, boat, gas, gear, snacks, drinks. I would idealy like to get people who don't have the op to go very much or are new to the sport. I would do it a Saturday in June, I could do transportation with in a reasonable distance.

Or is this a totally lame idea?

jason thats an awesome idea! we might try and do something like that with our group of riders, we're based out of tampa florida, where are you located? I am also going to talk to the guys at the cable park and see if they can come up with something. I have more Ronix fins in white and black than you can imagine, some slingshot driver boots(will check sizes when i go back out there) along with an old pair of ultras, and if i can get my pair of d2's warrantied, i will give those away as well.

I'm in Minnesota so it would be awhile out ha ha. I was thinking June sometime, I could do it for four or five people on the same day. Me my girl and maybe another bro in the boat to help out, we wouldn't ride just get some newbies exposed to the sport.

Sounds like a plan to me, Our Tampa Crew is always inviting new people out and most of them get hooked so its awesome! We have 10+ people with boats who ride weekly so set a date... we'll probably make a video from everybody learning and riding

My GF and I would be willing to do something in AZ. We are always looking for people to go so our kids don't have to flag. Only have a "Fakeboard boat" but it works great and throws a decent wake. Everyone we have taken has gotten up.

i think it's funny how this started as help out those that can't afford things, and alot of this I see is people that can afford things taking them. For those of u who can afford these things ask yourself is there someone else who can use this more and can't give their kid a gift this year. In the past I have donated lots of gear but it seems like people that could have afforded gear just took it. Every year I donate gear for a local wake event all proceeds go to Susan Koman Cancer research.
