Ha, ha, ha.... I just happened to have the boat and the car at my house. Figured it'd be a good photo op. The boat usually lives at the Delta and the limos at storage. I'm sure my neighbors loved me for a day. We do have a Excursion Limo that's a few feet longer. It's got a V10 and a tow package. I've been tempted to road trip it a couple times with the boat, but I'm kinda worried about how a 20' long driveshaft would cope with towing a X-star. I think I'm probably better not trying that out.

Nah.. We'll have BC3. I just had that one for a boat demo yesterday. That would be a killer way to roll. I still love that boat. The LY6 is a killer motor. Anyone want the boat. Killer deal.

Yup... I'd love to get something new, but it's not looking like it for now. We've gotta get the BC 3 sold before we get something new. Maybe we'll do some fresh graphics or a wrap. It'd be cool to do something different.

You can't be serious... Why wasn't it set up properly with a carrier bearing? A wimpy stock Toyota Tacoma uses a two piece driveshaft with a carrier bearing... I can't imagine a 20' driveshaft...

It's got multiple carrier bearings. I'm sure it'd probably be fine, but I don't feel like pushing it. Most limos have some driveline vibration without the extra load. Anything that long and with that many driveline sections is going to have some balance/alignment issues.

Huh? I've had four six door pickups, including one long bed, all towed great... It sounds like something is wrong...

That six door is 1/2 the length of our Excursion. I'd bet the Lincoln has a longer driveshaft than that 6 door and it's 10' shorter than the Excursion. Nothing is wrong. It's just a verrrry long vehicle. It also weighs in at 16,000 lbs. That puts a bit of stress on the trans and driveline by itself. That's an interesting concept. The six door, hmmm. I was thinking about stretching my F-250 200" and putting it into the fleet. It'd be a fun Tahoe charter. I've been joking about that for a bit now. Anywho... this thread was just about having some fun.

We take care of my wife's sister's four wonderful kids, plus we are foster parents for two other wonderful kids from Cuba. The kids are all active in the boy scouts and girl scouts and the trucks come in very handy. I also use it to show clients homes that we have built and property that we have for sale. I've had a total of four of these six door trucks so far, one dodge and three fords. That picture above isn't actually my truck, it was taken from ebay. All my trucks are white. Here is another one...

Alton Truck Co out of Michigan supposedly does the best job, I have had two of their Ford conversions. The Dodge I had was done at the factory. It was by far the best riding and driving truck of the four. If it had a diesel instead of the V10 in it I would have kept it. Several local companies do the conversion too. My next truck is going to be a six door with a Mega-Cab by the same guy who built this truck. I can't remember their names but they are in the Empire Island area.

Sam, that's what we've got. It's a 200" stretch Excursion. It's a loooong vehicle. A bit of a handful to drive. I can only imagine what it'd be like towing. Probably a longer wheel base than most motorhomes. Not sure it'd make the ramp. That pick-up is PIMP. Ha, ha, ha. That's the way to roll to the snow.

Hmm... that silver one is longer... Day-um that thing is huge. I can only imagine trying to get that rig in/out of places. Ours is tough enough. I don't touch it. I leave the driving on that one to the pros. You've gotta have a class B with a passanger endorsement to drive it.
