Took my 2003 Sanger V230 to the lake the other day and it wouldn't start, wouldn't even turn over. Turned out to be a $30 fuse located right by the starter. Had fuse replaced, and ever since I have been getting a double beep warning every two min or so. Could this be why my soft warning alarm is sounding?

It is most likely the transmission oil cooler water pressure sensor. You need to get it scanned with a code reader to find out for sure.

Thought it might be related to the changing of the fuse. The shop guy said something about the fuse having to do with the ECM. So I thought there was a chance that this was the cause.

On a Mercruiser 555 ecm, 2 beeps every minute is a "soft warning", usually triggered by a sensor out of whack. It is sometimes linked to a 10 percent power reduction, but not always. As stated above, it needs to be hooked to a diagnostic program to be identified and cleared.

Finally had codes read! According to the mechanic there were two codes firing. First being the IAC, and second being the Water pressure sensor. IAC has since been replaced. Now with the water pressure, What can be making this code fire? Engine is cooling fine. Also boat runs with no limitations.
