I am in the process of designing an outdoor kitchen. The shape and size will be similar to the picture below. I would love some suggestions. Any must haves? Anything that you thought was going be useful, but just ended up being a waste of space? I was not going to do a sink or a side burner. I am thinking a fridge is a must.

Also, I was thinking of getting a cheap 42 inch TV to mount up. It would be in a very well protected area, but it is still outside. Would this even work or do you need to drop the money and get an outdoor specific TV.

Thanks in advance!

After having access to some free materials I took on this project. I will be the first to admit I am not the handiest so doing something like this felt like a nice accomplishment. I did have a tremendous amount of help from my Dad so I can not take full credit. Now if only the grill I ordered would arrive and the granite for the fire pit and it should done.

I had a TV in a similar setup except I was on saltwater and next to a chlorine pool. The TV ran fine for 6 years before crapping out. I thought that was pretty good under the circumstances.

My only comment is your proximity may be an issue with a driving rain. Keep an eye on it. Also keep your remote indoors to make it last.
