I have no doubt a civil suit will be tied up in this as well. Can't mess with a man's livelihood and expect to get away with it. That is crazy.

That's terrible. I really feel bad for him and his family, who had to witness this incident. Now driving will never be the same for them , not knowing what nut is behind the wheel of a car.

It amazes me what people think they really can do or get away with. That person should never be able to drive again.

Wow! I hope he makes a fast and full recovery. I hope the family is okay. I was involved in an incident which my daughter witnessed at the age of 7. This stuff has a profound effect on how they view the world and other people. I'm glad it wasn't worse.

How awful. Thank goodness it wasn't worse, well wishes to Rusty

So what is the story? Did he get hit by a drunk driver?

Wow I didn't even see the link. I couldn't imagine

Stuff like this is why I carry BUT I wouldn't want my little man to be involved in that either.

Exactly what I was thinking. When I travel with the family I often pack. It would have been difficult to not shoot. That may be more traumatic than just taking the ram and letting the guy drive away though. Carrying a gun requires a straight head and the right decision. There are no redo's.
