A lot of us minnesotans took our first sets last year at the end of March!

2011 MN spring ride - better than anyone expected
2012 MN spring ride - pulled with the G23 (probably one of the first few events to be pulled with it?) and Danny Harf competes!
2013 MN spring ride - should be siiiick...

On another note. WIth Ryan Taylor being at the past 2 events, why havent we seen numerous photo albums posted. Or am I completely missing it. Pics from past events would certainly build some stoke for new people to come out.

This year should be about 3x's bigger and better than any previous year, in all aspects.

Suppose it's about time for that location update. This year we will be at Cragun's Resort on Gull Lake (Steamboat Bay), in Brainerd. I've been working on getting the permit since last June, so I'm super stoked to finally be able to announce this. Hopefully the wind will play nice while we are there!

So far, the prize purse for Saturday's Red Bull On The Line double-up contest is at $7,000, but my goal is to get it to $10,000+

The location, prizes, parties and all the activities will really be stepped up this year.

Oh yea, forgot to mention that we are working on a superb list of competitors this year.

The first special guest we'd like to announce is Scott Stewart. In case you haven't seen him ride before, check out this video!

Of course, Minnesota's very own Colin Ryan will be there as well.

Jeff, shoot me an email with your requirements on lodging. We're going to try to be a little more structured this year, since the resort is so big. jay.fogelson@gmail.com.

I forgot to mention that I just stood up a new website for it, check it out when you get time. www.mnspringride.com.

Just a reminder that if you have not gotten your cabin's reserved, you'll want to do so soon. There have been over 20 reserved already and there are only about 5 or so left. We'll be doing a big retail marketing campaign throughout MN, WI and IA so I anticipate that everything will eventually get reserved.

Alright homeskillets, time for some news.

1. Athlete Registration is now open and must be done online via mnspringride.com (click on the Athlete Registration link in the left nav). This must be completed by May 26.

Don't forget to wash your boat, trailer, stock ballast, and extra ballast bags if you're coming from a lake or river with invasive species! I'd hate to see milfoil in the Gull Chain

^^^^^^^^What GullRide said.^^^^^^^^^
